Bruce Willis could be headed to Russia for Die Hard 5.
The Hollywood star is set to reprise his iconic role as John McClane in the fifth instalment of the franchise, which is rumoured to be set largely in the former Soviet Union state, reported Twitchfilm.com.
Accompanied by his son, John and his offspring soon get drawn into a conflict with local forces, it has been said.
Bruce - who claims the fifth outing would be his Die Hard finale - previously said he would love the film to be set in international territory, telling MTV: "[The story's] got to go worldwide. That would be my contribution to it."
A director is also being hunted for the fifth follow-up, which has been in talks for more than a year and has been penned by Skip Woods, after Noam Murro is rumoured to have dropped out to focus on the 300 prequel Xerxes.
Max Payne's John Moore is reportedly in the running to take over, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
Last October, Bruce, who also said he would like Len Wiseman to take the director's chair, revealed that a first draft of the script was finished and that the shooting should begin in 2011.
