Willis set for thriller Extraction

Bruce Willis has signed up to star in thriller Extraction.

The Red actor made the deal ahead of the Berlin Film Festival, where the movie will be put out for international sales, according to Variety.

He will play a former CIA operative who is kidnapped by a terrorist group while working with his son on the development of a new lethal weapon.

This is the second thriller that Bruce, 59, has signed up to recently - having also joined the cast of Wake.

The star can next be seen in comedy Rock The Kasbah alongside Bill Murray, Kate Hudson and Zooey Deschanel, due out later this year.

Extraction is being directed by Stephen C Miller and will be released in the US by Lionsgate.
