Wilson lands a Turkey of a role

Owen Wilson is lending his voice to upcoming comedy Turkeys

Owen Wilson is to be a voice star in animated comedy Turkeys.

The Midnight In Paris actor is set to lend his voice to the adventure comedy alongside Woody Harrelson.

The pair will play two turkeys, who hail from opposite sides of the tracks but have to put aside their differences and join forces to travel back in time to change the course of history and take turkey off the menu for good.

The upcoming cartoon, which has been written by David I Stern, John Strauss and Craig Mazin, will be directed by Horton Hears A Who!'s Jimmy Hayward and is set for release in 2014.

CEO of Relativity Media Ryan Kavanaugh, who will produce the film, said: "We are delighted to broaden our film release slate to include Turkeys which features an exciting roster of voice talent, a powerhouse creative team and an original witty storyline."

Owen is no stranger to voice work, having lent his unmistakeable vocals to Lightning McQueen in Cars and the sequel, Coach Skip in Fantastic Mr Fox, Marmaduke and Larry Lion in the upcoming Lions Vs Leopards.

Gemini:

Someone will steal credit for your work, which is maddening. Drawing attention to the problem will only make you look petty. You're better off accepting the situation with quiet dignity and grace. Move on to the next assignment, but make sure to sign your name to every piece of work that is submitted. Tell your boss what you are doing on a regular basis. You'll sound like a pest, but at least it's better than getting stabbed in the back.More
