Ray Winstone could be joining the seven dwarves in the upcoming production of Snow White And The Huntsman.
The acclaimed British star is reported to be in talks to join Rupert Sanders' big-screen action-packed adaptation of the fairytale, The Hollywood Reporter said.
Ray - who next appears in Martin Scorsese's Hugo Cabret - would play Trajan, the twin brother of Hadrian (Eddie Marsan).
His casting would round off the unlikely crew, with Ian McShane said to be negotiating for the part of Caesar, the leader of the dwarves, Toby Jones apparently waiting to be cast as a timid dwarf named Claudius, and Eddie Izzard expected to play Tiberius, described as the biggest and burliest of the crew.
Bob Hoskins could play blind dwarf Constantine, and Stephen Graham may take the part of angry-looking dwarf Nero.
Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth star in the action adventure, about a princess who escapes her evil stepmother with the help of a huntsman who trains the princess to fight back.
Production is scheduled for late summer, with filming taking place in Europe.
