Zeta-Jones heads to Broken City

Catherine Zeta Jones is set to star alongside Russell Crowe

Catherine Zeta-Jones is rumoured to be continuing her big screen comeback with a role in drama Broken City, opposite Russell Crowe and Mark Wahlberg.

The Welsh starlet is said to have "closed her deal" to star in Allen Hughes' movie, and is tipped to be cast as the adulterous wife of the New York mayor (played by Russell), reported Deadline.

Mark - who will also co-produce the movie - is on board as a Brooklyn detective, who is hired by the mayor to help identify his wife's lover - only to find himself in the midst of the situation when the lover turns up dead.

Shooting is set to begin in November in New York.

Catherine, who was last seen in culinary comedy No Reservations and Death Defying Acts in 2007, has been filming Adam Shankman's Rock Of Ages with Tom Cruise and Russell Brand. She will also star in Playing The Field alongside Gerard Butler and Dennis Quaid, and Stephen Frears' Lay The Favorite with Bruce Willis and Vince Vaughn.

The 42-year-old actress, who is married to Michael Douglas, sought treatment for bipolar disorder in April, and checked herself into a hospital in Connecticut.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
