An eagerly-awaited Northern Irish festive film will be released in cinemas across the UK on November 13.

A Christmas Star tells the heart-warming story of Noelle, a spirited young girl who embarks on a magical journey to save her friends and family.

The final showdown with a conniving developer is set at Stormont as Noelle implores politicians and the watching world to believe in the true meaning of Christmas — love.

The film is narrated by Ballymena star Liam Neeson and features former James Bond Pierce Brosnan, as well as cameos from Kylie Minogue and Dermot O’Leary.

More than 5,000 young people auditioned for the innovative film, made by Cinemagic International Film and Television Festival for Young People.
