Oktoberfest, the Munich Beer Festival, comes to Belfast for the very first time. Enjoy German beer, Bavarian food, and music in the marquee at Custom House Square until Oct 11 from 6-10.30pm each night. Ards Guitar Festival kicks off today with the final of the Avalon singer/songwriter competition in the Ards Arts Centre at 7.30pm. Free. This festival is in its 12th year and promises a packed programme until Oct 19th with many free events. Visit www.ardsguitarfestival.co.uk

TOMORROW (Wed 8th Oct)
