THERE'LL be no more lie-ins for Frank Mitchell come September, when he takes on the new role of presenter of U105 Morning.

From Monday, September 18, the UTV man will be up early to host the show, which begins at 9am.

The new post means Frank will be extra busy as he juggles radio, UTV Live and presenting the weather.

Frank said: "Radio was my first love and it's a pleasure to be taking over as the presenter of U105 Morning.

"I believe the station has the best music format on the dial and with the input from both the radio and TV newsrooms, it is an exciting studio complex to work in.

"It's fast-moving, entertaining, up-to-date and bubbling with the energy and warmth that has made UTV such a success over many years.

"It really is a dream come true to be in the unique position of working on radio each morning and on TV each evening. I'm looking forward to the wonderful challenge ahead."

John Rosborough, managing director, U105, said: "Frank is a big TV personality but with his love for radio he's also been willing to lend his talents to U105 over the past 10 months.

"He's a great presenter and it's a natural fit for Frank to present U105 Morning."

Virgo:

Spending time on your own will be rewarding. You're an extremely conscientious person who is hyperaware of your surroundings. Sometimes this sensitivity can inhibit you from doing what you really want. You're afraid of offending people with your bold ideas. Instead of repressing your instincts, obey them. If you've developed a romantic interest in someone special, make your move. Playing the aggressor will boost your confidence. Keep your conversations light and playful.More
