THE RAPTURE

Pieces Of The People We Love

Mercury

Mercury

OOOO

New York's cooler-than-thou quartet (above) took their time recording a follow-up to their fine debut.

It's paid dividends on this startlingly exciting album that offers even more delights than their first did.

Get Myself Into It is a giddy drum-and-bass delight with distinctively yelped vocals. Whoo!

Alright is a jerky indie anthem with bells that could well push the band into the mainstream.

And the Sound is a dirty, bass-heavy funk confection that's instantly memorable.

The Rapture prove there's plenty of life in post punk's second wave.
