Michael Moore in Belfast to introduce latest film Where to Invade Next
Michael Moore will be in Belfast next week to introduce his latest film Where to Invade Next.
Moore is the Oscar and Emmy-winning director of the ground-breaking and record-setting films Roger & Me, Bowling for Columbine, and ‘Fahrenheit 9/11’.
He will introduce the film at the Moviehouse on the Dublin Road on Wednesday June 15.
The movie is described as "an expansive, hilarious, and subversive comedy" in which the director "confronts the most pressing issues facing the US today and finds solutions in the most unlikely places".
Writing in the Independent Geoffrey McNab said: "Where To Invade Next makes consistently entertaining viewing and again demonstrates Moore’s knack of dealing with complex issues in a folksy and populist style."
Ahead of his visit to Belfast the Moore tweeted: "Heading 2 UK & Ireland 4 premiere of my film! Hope Britain'll still be in Europe by time I land! I know they'll still be in Ireland. Hahaha."
