Get up close and personal with Timberlake, for £255
SexyBack star returns for sell-out Odyssey shows
Thursday, 19 April 2007
Ulster fans of Justin Timberlake are being offered the chance to be part of an exclusive dance club when the SexyBack superstar kicks off his European tour in Belfast next week.
The Memphis mover jets into the city on Tuesday, April 24, for two sell-out shows at the Odyssey Arena.
And now some lucky fans are being invited to be part of the SexyBack Dance Club - which allows them to get up close to the heart-throb popstar.
But exclusive also means expensive. The chance to sit at the bar which is integrated into the stage certainly doesn't come cheap.
Tickets for the seated bar area are priced £255, while to hang out in the standing area in the Dance Club will set you back £80.
Those who can afford to splash out on the tickets will sit at a bar built into the stage and watch Justin's sexy moves from just yards away.
Each night, around 40 devoted fans will be seated at the exclusive bar, right in the centre of the action.
Gig goers who don't manage to secure their own bar seats can still be part of the SexyBack Dance Club as a limited number of standing tickets have just been released.
A spokeswoman for Aiken Promotions said that anyone who had already purchased their tickets for the shows could still upgrade them by contacting the Odyssey Arena.
She said: "Justin's tour is in 'the round' but part of the stage juts out into the crowd in a triangle shape.
"The people who buy the tickets for the seated area actually sit at the bar, with their drink and elbows on the stage, and Justin comes out and dances right in front of them.
"He did this on his American tour and it went down very well."
The tickets went on sale yesterday, but some were still expected to be available today.
Justin Timberlake last played Belfast's Odyssey Arena in December 2003, when he was accompanied by his then girlfriend, actress Cameron Diaz.
Next week's shows, on Tuesday and Wednesday, are the first of his massive sell-out FutureSex/ LoveSounds tour.
