Prince of pop delights Ulster fans with sexy Odyssey show

Thousands of Justin Timberlake fans packed into Belfast's Odyssey Arena last night to see the Sexyback star rock his body.

Twenty-six-year-old 'JT' and his hefty entourage flew into the province yesterday afternoon to kick off his European tour - The FutureSex/LoveShow.

It is almost three years since he first appeared in the city and last night was the first of two sold-out shows.

The Memphis-born prince of pop almost brought the house down when he took to the stage wearing a black suit with white shirt. He was accompanied by a troupe of up to 10 dancers and an eight-strong band.

As expected the heart-throb singer, whose debut film Alpha Dog hit the big screen this week, had the audience eating out of his hands when he opened his set with Futuresex Lovesound, taken from his new album.

He also raised the roof with a host of Grammy Award-winning Justified favourites including Sexy Ladies, Cry Me a River and of course the smash hit Rock Your Body.

The two-and-a-half-hour set was performed in the "round" to give gig-goers in all seats a great view of the dance moves.

And for the 40 fans who forked out £255 there was the chance to see the superstar up close and personal in the seated bar area of his SexyBack Dance Club - where Timberlake danced just yards away.

Following his Belfast dates, the star will head to Sheffield to continue with his UK tour before moving to Europe throughout May.

But he'll be back in Ireland in June to play Dublin, ending his tour with three nights in London.
