McFly-ing back to Belfast
Wednesday, 25 April 2007
Boy band McFly last night announced their return to Belfast for the third year in a row. The four-piece, whose new single Baby's Coming Back is due out next month, are expected to pack the Odyssey Arena when they take to the stage on Wednesday, November 21.
Tickets for their Greatest Hits tour are set to sell well when they go on sale this Saturday.
Concertgoers can look forward to renditions of old favourites like debut single Girl with Five Colours in her Hair which kept the boys at number one for two weeks in 2004. Other songs like Obviously and All About You - the official Comic Relief single for 2005 - are also expected to be a huge hit with fans.
McFly - Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poyntor - have come a long way since they were formed four years ago following an ad in the NME.
The lads were the youngest group to score a number one with their debut album, Room On The Third Floor and have since rocked up a host of awards including the gong for Best Pop Act at last year's Brit Awards.
Tickets for the Greatest Hits Tour go on sale this Saturday from at 10am from Odyssey Arena box office, Virgin and all usual Ticketmaster outlets.
