Adele 25 tour Belfast tickets sell out in 20 minutes
Extra dates added due to phenomenal demand
Tickets to see Adele in Belfast have sold out in just 20 minutes - leaving both those in virtual and physical queues in turmoil.
Fans of the soulful superstar, who launched her return to the music world with the smash-hit Hello, flocked in their droves both online and in person to the ticket outlets.
And as it's Adele's first tour in five years - it was already tipped to be an instant sell out show.
However fans of the Someone Like You singer remained cautiously hopeful to get their hands on a ticket for the tour which kicks off in Belfast in February 2016.
But soon, as expected websites groaned under the strain of the high demand - and it seems many have missed out, including those queuing at the SSE Arena Belfast.
At present there are still tickets at top-end price £100 available.
Fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration - with some more inventive than others.
One unlucky fan said: "Tickets to see Adele in Belfast seem to have sold out the very second they went on sale. 'At least I can say that I've tried'"
Another said: "Had two tickets for Adele but times out on payment page. Stored card details as well. Fuming!!!"
But while there was heartache there was also joy for many who were tweeting pictures with their tickets commenting that their time in the queues was well worth the wait.
One said: "Wooooo tickets for Adele in hand."
Another said: "Adele tickets got! Ready for an hour and 50 minutes of crying."
Aiken Promotions have issued a strong warning to those who missed out not to buy from unofficial outlets.
Ticketmaster and the SSE Arena Box Office are the only official ticket sellers.
This was second time lucky for some fans trying to get their hands on tickets as they registered for the advance ticket sale during the week.
But if you fancy another ticket scramble and a trip across the water - more dates have been released for Manchester, London and Birmingham.

On Tuesday advance tickets were available from the singer's website but the hashtag #Adeletickets was soon trending on Twitter with some queuing for up to four hours online being left empty-handed.
Angry Belfast fans hoping to see the star at the SSE Arena Belfast took to Twitter to vent their frustration as their hopes of securing a ticket to see their idol ahead of the general sale appeared to be dashed.
One said: "After two hours I got through to get tickets for Adele in Belfast, then they were sold out."
Another said: "Is anyone in Belfast actually getting the Adele presale tickets? Been in the queu (sic) an hour and still no change and says still available."
Adele has experienced a record-breaking return to the music world as her first single Hello along with her album 25 has sky-rocketed to the top of the charts around the world.
SSE Airtricity Customers were also given access to pre-sale tickets for the Adele concert on Wednesday morning and they too had sold out within two hours.
