Country queen Lisa McHugh making a splash at Marine Hotel

Lisa McHugh Marine Hotel, Ballycastle Sunday, 9pm This country music dance event, as part of the opening weekend of the Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival, features Glasgow-born, Lisa McHugh (right). Having filled venues up and down Ireland in recent years, the country starlet has a new album coming out later this year.

Gordon Lightfoot

In this, his first Belfast concert for many decades, the legendary Canadian singer-songwriter's show features his full band and performances of his hits as well as album songs, all woven together with stories and personal anecdotes about his 50-year career.

Lightfoot has recorded 20 albums, received five Grammy nominations and has had his songs recorded by other greats including Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Olivia Newton-John, Barbra Streisand, Glen Campbell and Eric Clapton.
