One Direction will be returning to home turf to perform at The X Factor final, it's been confirmed.
Emeli Sande will also be singing, while other special guests are still to be announced.
But the boyband, Heaven singer Emeli and Welsh choir Only Boys Aloud will appear alongside the three finalists in the competition at Manchester Central on December 9.
The semi-final takes place this weekend, featuring Chris Maloney, Union J, Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur.
Beyonce, Rihanna, Coldplay and Take That have previously performed in the final of the ITV1 show.
One Direction finished in third place on The X Factor in 2010, but have carved out huge success in the US as well as at home.
