One Direction's Zayn Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards have gone public with their relationship.
The 1D heartthrob and his blonde girlfriend were pictured kissing goodbye as he prepared to fly to the US with the rest of the band.
A source told The Sun the pair - who are thought to have been dating since February - had been unsure their relationship could work because of the pressures and travel involved in their work. But they have now decided they like each other too much not to be together, and feel ready to go public with their romance.
Zayn, 19, who came third in The X Factor with One Direction in 2011, and Perrie, 18, who won the TV talent show last year with girlband Little Mix, reportedly shared a kiss backstage when the boyband appeared on the show in December.
They apparently began dating in February when Zayn - who previously dated X Factor's Rebecca Ferguson - returned from a promotional tour of the US.
