Leah McFall has just performed at her first major summer festival – alongside her mentor will.i.am and a host of other major showbiz stars.
The 24-year-old Carnmoney woman went down a storm at London's Wireless Festival after taking to the Pepsi Max Stage in front of a huge crowd on Sunday night. Coming runner-up on The Voice to her friend Andrea Begley, from Co Tyrone, has clearly done no harm to the quirky singer.
She's already had four cover songs chart in the UK and there is a 'big future in showbiz' buzz surrounding her.
Leah, who has been trying to make it in the entertainment industry since she was 14, is understandably excited about what the next chapter of her career will bring.
She affectionately calls her fans "giants" and on Sunday morning messaged her 160,000-strong Twitter following with the words, "Big Day Ahead". She later posted photographs of herself at the Wireless festival and an image of the massive festival crowd she had just sang for.
"This just happened. Performing at wireless with @iamwill," she tweeted. She added: ""Look at all them wee faces!! #blessed to do what I love."
Rita Ora, Emili Sande, Calvin Harris and Snoop Dogg were among the big names to perform at Wireless over the weekend, with Jay Z and Justin Timberlake closing proceedings on Sunday from the main stage.
Meanwhile, Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, who whisked Leah off to Los Angeles after The Voice, revealed he has recorded an original song with her. Last week he tweeted: "I think @leahmcfallmusic and I just made the most heart melting song of our lives..."
Leah responded with her own Twitter post, writing: "I love it. Just woke up singing it. Is the world ready???!"
As well as recording new material together, a new version of will.i.am's hit song Bang Bang, featuring Leah, could also be released soon, too.
In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Leah said she had developed "a good wee friendship" with the American singing star and hopes to get back on home soil for a performance soon.
"There is always a good bit of banter between us," she said.
"It's 100% when the material comes out that Belfast is the one place I definitely want to perform.
"It will be very special for me."
Leah has a good support network around her, including family, friends and the team at Flash Management she's been signed with for quite a while.
The young star's manager Jevan Levy used to work for Sony Music UK and ASM Artist Management, and was the late Amy Winehouse's personal assistant for three years.
