Chart-topping star Adele has revealed she recently flashed at a bus full of passengers.

The Someone Like You singer suffered her embarrassing moment after heading out without her undies on a windy day.

But she said she was grateful that no one seemed to recognise her.

Adele, who has had colossal sales of her latest album 21 since appearing live at the Brit Awards in February, made her confession to Graham Norton in an interview to be screened on his BBC1 chat show.

She said: "I got up, threw on a kaftan sort of thing with no sleeves to go to the shops, and the wind got up just as a bus was passing.

"The whole thing was hula-hooping around my neck and I was completely naked and everyone on the bus saw everything.

"Luckily they didn't know it was me - but of course they will now."

The singer said she has been getting unwanted attention from photographers since she found her latest flush of success. And she told Norton that she had recently given them a piece of her mind only to find they were trying to snap her neighbour.

She grumbled: "I hate the paparazzi - it's all the time and they pop up everywhere.

"I had a huge row with them the other day telling them to go away - then I realised they were not there for me but for Elle MacPherson who lives in the same street."
