Adele is said to be keeping James Bond producers on tenterhooks over whether she will provide the theme tune for 007's latest film.

The Someone Like You star wrote and sang theme tune Skyfall for the last Bond film of the same name, and according to The Sun, cast and crew including James Bond actor Daniel Craig are keen to get her back again for the franchise's 24th offering.

A source told the paper: "The chiefs here have made their feelings known to Adele that they want her back for the next film.

"Daniel has also made it clear he loved Adele and wants her back but she has not responded, which is making them sweat."

Skyfall was the first Bond theme tune to win at the Golden Globes, Oscars and Brit Awards.

Adele is currently working on her third album and is said to be collaborating with Prince, Phil Collins and producers James Ford and Kid Harpoon.

The Sun had previously reported that the album could be ready much sooner than expected and said that industry insiders were expecting her new material "imminently".
