Adele has joined US President Barack Obama on Time magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people.
The 23-year-old British singer's addition to the list was championed in the magazine by singer Pink.
Pink wrote: "Turn on any radio in the world and you will probably hear Adele.
"Go to Mars right now and I'm pretty sure, if there is life on that planet, they're playing Adele."
The Grammy-award winning star is ranked alongside Rihanna, Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig, Oscar nominees Viola Davis, Tilda Swinton and Jessica Chastain, Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein and Claire Danes, star of hit TV drama Homeland.
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her younger sister Pippa were also on the list, along with Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton, who made Kate's wedding dress last year.
