Adele has showed off her new ten-bedroom country mansion on a US TV show.
The 23-year-old Grammy winner gave 60 minutes host Anderson Cooper a tour of the £7 million Sussex home as she told him of her first attempt at living independently.
Adele said: "After my first record I moved out of my mum's to Notting Hill on my own.
"My life fell apart. My phone got cut off, my credit card got cut off, the house was a mess. It was awful. So I moved back in with her."
The Someone Like You singer is now enjoying a luxury lifestyle, renting the lavish country pile, where she lives with boyfriend Simon Konecki, 36.
Adele's 25-acre estate has a guest cottage, helicopter pad and tennis courts in the landscaped grounds, while the house boasts two swimming pools, a games room, a media centre and a grand free standing bathtub in the master suite.
The singer said: "This is just safety, this house."
