Albarn, Adele 'teaming up on album'

Damon Albarn is said to have been drafted in by Adele to sharpen up her new album before it is released.

Adele had originally been due to release her third record, which is thought to be titled 25, this month, but is reported to still be working on it as she is not completely happy with what has been finished so far.

Blur star Damon has been called upon to tinker with the tunes and has been meeting with the Skyfall singer in his West London studio, according to The Sun.

Damon released a solo album earlier this year, writes and produces for his other band Gorillaz, and was behind a critically-acclaimed album from the late Bobby Womack.

Adele has already worked with Ryan Tedder, Diane Warren, Paul Epworth, James Ford and Phil Collins on the album, although Phil said recently that his contribution had been dropped.
