Alicia Keys is rumoured to be singing the national anthem at this year's Super Bowl.
A source linked to Super Bowl entertainment plans told The Associated Press that Alicia has been lined up to perform the before the NFL championship game in New Orleans on Feburay 3 2013.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the NFL has not yet announced the anthem singer.
Grammy-winner Alicia released her fifth studio album, Girl on Fire, late last year.
The NFL said in October that Beyonce will be the star of the half-time show at the prestigious US event. She is expected to perform new Destiny's Child track Nuclear with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. The band has just reunited for the first time sine 2005.
This year's Super Bowl teams will be determined Sunday, when the 49ers play the Falcons, and the Ravens face the Patriots.
