Amy Winehouse rushed to hospital in Caribbean

Amy Winehouse was reportedly rushed to hospital in St Lucia, complaining of chest pains.

The 25-year-old singer — who is staying on the Caribbean island while working on her third album —was admitted to a ward on Friday night after she fainted, which her management blamed on “dehydration”.

Amy's spokesman told the Daily Mirror: “She was complaining of chest pains so the doctor advised her to come in. She was kept in for observation then released.”

Fans are concerned that the star’s drug addiction has been replaced by alcohol abuse.

Amy is due to play in London at the end of the month to celebrate her record label’s 50th anniversary.
