Aplin: TV ad was so last minute

Gabrielle Aplin has revealed that she only got the request to audition for the John Lewis ad which launched her music career at the very last minute.
The singer told The Sun that she recorded her rendition of The Power Of Love in just one take after being approached to submit a performance for the Christmas ad.
The 20-year-old said that other female singers were approached to perform the Frankie Goes To Hollywood classic.
She told the newspaper: "It was really random. I'm a fan of the song but I didn't have any expectations for it. A lot of girls were asked to do it - I got asked at the last minute. It was all completely spontaneous.
"I recorded it in one take, sent it off on deadline, and mine was the one that was chosen. It all happened so fast."
Gabrielle, who is releasing her debut album English Rain, had to delay the release of her original material after landing the job.
She revealed she penned her latest single Panic Cord about a man who developed an unrequited crush on her.
"He doesn't know about the song yet but he will," she said.
