Arcade Fire at New Orleans festival

Arcade Fire will be performing at the New Orleans festival

Arcade Fire, Wyclef Jean and Bon Jovi are among the headliners announced for the 2011 New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival.

Others include John Legend And The Roots, Willie Nelson, Kid Rock, Lauryn Hill, Wilco and Cyndi Lauper.

They will join hundreds of Louisiana artists, including Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, The Neville Brothers, Dr John, Irma Thomas, Pete Fountain, Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers and Mystikal at the event.

Festival producer Quint Davis said that this year's line-up would deliver an unprecedented mix of the traditional and the contemporary.

The seven-day festival runs April 29 to May 1 and May 5-8 at the Fair Grounds Race Course.
