Aretha Franklin has revealed she is set to tie the knot in 2012.
The 69-year-old Queen of Soul has announced her engagement to her "forever friend" William 'Willie' Wilkerson.
Aretha told People: "We're looking at June or July for our date.
She joked: "And no, I'm not pregnant."
The singer lost 85 pounds last year after suffering a health scare during her tour and undergoing emergency surgery.
Her representative revealed: "Ms Franklin is considering Donna Karan, Valentino and the queen of wedding dresses, Vera Wang, to design her gown."
Aretha wants to hold her wedding on Miami Beach, with an exclusive reception on board a private yacht.
