James Arthur's new tattoo has apparently earned him a telling off from his mum.
The X Factor winner recently had an image of King Arthur etched onto his right hand - which he explained was inspired because it was "like I was a pauper and now I'm fulfilling my purpose so I feel like a king" - and it seems his mother wasn't impressed.
A source told The Sun: "He's got loads of tattoos but his latest has really upset her.
"She thought he was over his tattoo phase and only spotted it after it was beamed on the big screen at a gig."
James' mum Shirley Ashworth is said to be hoping the Impossible singer gets his new inking removed.
