Teen R&B sensation Chris Brown makes his Northern Ireland debut tonight.

The 19-year-old is equally renowned for his not-so-secret relationship with pop princess Rihanna and his impressive dance moves.

The award-winning singer will perform hits from his 2005 self-titled album, last year’s Exclusive and debut new songs from his upcoming album.

His Odyssey date is the first of four Irish concerts, which are sure to be successful following his two sold-out London shows last March.

Brown’s performances are credited for his singing ability, exuberant dances and boundless energy. Although he has been under public scrutiny from a young age — his first single Run was released when he was 15 — the star has maintained a clean-cut persona.

He has received an array of awards, including Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards, and has been nominated for two Grammys at next month’s ceremony. His third studio album will be released this year, and is rumoured to feature duets with his alleged sweetheart Rihanna and Akon.

Singer Rihanna, meanwhile, has sparked rumours that she is engaged to Chris after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

According to The Sun, 20-year-old Rihanna was wearing the ring after she left the 02 in London, following a performance there.

A source told the newspaper: “Rihanna was wearing the biggest diamond you can imagine.”
