Aston restaurant plan back on?
JLS heartthrob Aston Merrygold has revealed he still wants to open his own restaurant.
The star had previously been keen to launch an eatery, but the idea went on the backburner as the boyband worked through their busy schedule.
Beat Again singer Aston told the Daily Star: "A couple of years ago I had the idea about opening a restaurant. But it didn't happen at the time. I need to get back on it."
He added: "We're very careful with our money. We play hard but we work hard too, and we're smart about it.
"We count the pennies, definitely. But having my own restaurant is something I'd really like to make happen."
If Aston did open his own restaurant he would follow in the footsteps of stars including P Diddy and Dermot O'Leary, and footballer Rio Ferdinand.
Not all celebrity food ventures have been a success, however. Britney Spears decided to pull the shutters down on her Manhattan restaurant NYLA in 2002, just months after its grand opening.
