Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has revealed his 15-month-old son looks set to follow in his footsteps.
A recording of baby Bingham's heartbeat while he was still in his mother Kate Hudson's womb features on Follow Me, a track from Muse's latest album 2nd Law. And Matt revealed the tot is already showing signs of musical prowess.
"I took him into a sound check the other day and he had his earmuffs on and he just tried to run on the stage and grab me and grab the guitar so I've got a feeling he's going to be following in my footsteps," Matt said.
"His favourite song's Starlight. Whenever I'm away for a day or two he's always trying to get on the iPhone to watch Starlight and he goes 'Dada, Dada, Starlight' and it kills me."
Matt - whose band this week picked up the Q Award for Best Act In The World Today - said that if Bingham did decide to become a musician, he would be fully supportive.
"Psychologically and emotionally it can be quite demanding, but when it goes well it's the best thing ever," he added.
Muse performed in front of millions of viewers at the Olympic closing ceremony in August - and Matt admitted the group was beset with nerves beforehand.
"The Olympics was amazing, it was mind-blowing. That was our first performance for a long time, so we were very nervous about that but I think we just about got away with it," he said.
