Bieber accused of spraying graffiti

Justin Bieber has been accused of spraying graffiti in Brazil.

The website of the country's biggest news outlet has published photos it said show the pop star spray painting graffiti on a wall and said police want to question him.

The O Globo newspaper reported that photographers snapped Bieber as he painted graffiti on a wall of the former Hotel Nacional in Rio de Janeiro.

Defacing buildings is a crime in Brazil punishable by up to one year in jail and a fine.

O Globo claimed police went to the mansion Bieber had been renting in Rio to question him but he was not there.

The police department involved and Bieber's representatives have yet to comment on the reports.
