Justin Bieber's grandparents think the paparazzi pick on him

Justin Bieber's grandmother has defended the star, insisting the paparazzi "pick on him".

The Boyfriend singer has been at the centre of several controversies in recent months - including making disparaging remarks about former US President Bill Clinton and relieving himself in a bucket at a New York restaurant.

But his gran Diane Dale told CTV Ottawa he is just being a normal teenager.

She said: "It's totally crazy. I feel sorry for Justin all the time because paparazzi pick on him all the time.

"Anybody else's kids have done the same thing but nobody says anything."

Justin's grandad Bruce Dale added: "He's just a 19-year-old boy and before you criticise him, say, what is my 19-year-old boy doing?"

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
