Justin Bieber channelled Father Christmas when he doled out presents to some of his fans.
The singer, 19, surprised 150 kids ahead of the release of his new documentary film, Justin Bieber's Believe.
A video on the Daily Mirror's website shows Justin handing out gifts to the kids from a Los Angeles youth club at a special screening of the film.
A source close to the Canadian star was quoted as saying: "Justin interrupted the movie to tell them he wanted to bring them something to kick start their Christmas.
"He stood on stage and gave them toys he brought then sang two songs, including Christmas Love which you can hear in the video.
"When he was done, instead of leaving, he sat amongst the crowd and watched the rest of the movie."
Justin, who later donned a red suit when he attended the world premiere of the documentary, is seen shedding a tear in the new film.
Talking about his ups and downs, including the controversy over his late gigs in London, he says: "When you've reached a certain point in your life, there are people out there waiting to see you fall.
"Rather than let gravity take you down, sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands and fly."
He says: "You always gotta keep a smile on your face, it's all about positivity."
