Justin Bieber has said he won't settle for anyone but David Beckham to coach his celebrity football team.
The Canadian pop star wants to start his own team, which will apparently be made up of the likes of One Direction and the American rapper Lil Bow Wow, and he has vowed to "personally ask David myself" for his help, reports the Daily Star.
Justin, 18, explained: "I've been playing a lot of soccer over the last two or three years. I've been really enjoying it."
He went on: "I know there's an LA celebrity team that Robbie Williams was in, but I am looking to start a team for the younger guys... There is only one guy we want to coach the team and that is David Beckham."
The singer added that the team would be training "only ten minutes" from the LA Galaxy player's house and assured that they would only be playing a few games a season, due to hectic work loads.
As well as Lil Bow Wow, David and One Direction, Justin has hinted at plans on getting his girlfriend Selena Gomez and David's wife Victoria Beckham onside, saying: "I was going to ask my girl Selena and Victoria if they wanted to be cheerleaders for us."
However, he admitted: "But hey, that might be pushing it."
