Billy Idol has agreed to make one devoted US fan's dream come true by performing at his birthday party.
Michael Henrichsen has campaigned for two years to get his idol to play on his big day, and this week, on his 26th birthday, his wish will finally come true.
Michael set up a website, playmybirthdaybillyidol.com and managed to get endorsements from celebrities including Mike Love of the Beach Boys and America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon.
He has staged several concerts dubbed Billy Idol Aid and raised over 10,000 dollars for a food bank and the American Red Cross.
Now the British punk rocker has agreed to play at Michael's 26th birthday party in Seattle on Friday October 26, 2012.
Michael said the party is going to be "pretty much the coolest night ever."
Billy said in a message on the website: "People of the world have spoken - the dream will become a reality. I will take the stage for what is sure to be one of the most memorable birthday parties your city has ever known!"
