Blur recording comeback album?

Blur are working a new album with William Orbit

Blur are reportedly back in the recording studio working on a new comeback album.

Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree, who reunited for a tour in 2010, haven't recorded a new album since 2003's Think Tank. Now producer William Orbit has let slip on Twitter that they are in the studio together again.

William tweeted about Malian artist Fatoumata Diawara saying: " I just found out that she has done tracks with Damon A, who I'm in the studio with from Wednesday!"

Later he tweeted to Graham: "Loving the guitars you laid down. Vocal sesh Mar 3."

William produced's Madonna's album Ray Of Light and previously worked with Blur on their album 13.

The Sun quoted him as saying: "Was at Damon Albarn's studio today.

"Will be producing a couple of tracks with Blur next week. Just for the sheer musical blast of it."
