The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers has revealed part of the band's "musical DNA" is from the UK.

The Las Vegas band are embarking on a UK arena tour this week, and lead singer Brandon said he was looking forward to rocking out on British soil.

"It's always great to play in Scotland, and Manchester is our musical home so we're looking forward to that. In Scotland they're just a little bit more rambunctious than the rest," he said.

"We're excited to play our new songs. We've only played a few of them live."

Asked why The Killers' music struck a chord with UK fans, the Somebody Told Me singer said: "Part of our DNA is from over here, the musical DNA. We have absorbed it our whole lives and so it comes out in some weird way, funnelled through Las Vegas.

"You recognise some heart in it and hopefully that's why."

Capricorn:

Your dry humour will be very popular. It's always difficult bringing a large group of people together. Everybody feels like they are walking on eggshells. After cracking a few jokes, you'll put the group at ease. Resist the temptation to make fun of relatives, especially the more sensitive members of the group. Nobody likes feeling singled out. Watching a light hearted comedy can also be a great way to generate a festive atmosphere. This is a time when people can put their differences aside.More
