Britney Spears has revealed she is recording a special song for her sons.
The pop princess tweeted her fans to tell them about a project she is working on for seven-year-old Sean Preston and six-year-old Jayden James, her children from her former marriage to Kevin Federline.
She wrote: "I'm at the studio recording a new song for my boys. They are going to freak out when they hear it. So excited!"
The star, who recently announced she and fiance Jason Trawick were ending their engagement and that she was quitting as a judge on US X Factor, didn't reveal further details about the track but promised that all would be revealed soon.
"It's a surprise so keep it shhhhh and don't be grouchy. I'll fill you all in soon ;)," she added.
The 31-year-old has been back in the charts recently, with her song with will.i.am, Scream And Shout.
