Naughty Boy's row with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has stepped up a notch - with Jimmy Bullard wading in to the disagreement in tonight's episode of Celebrity Juice.

The former footballer and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant reveals that he is a friend of Tomlinson's in this week's instalment of the ITV2 panel show, where producer Naughty Boy - real name Shahid Khan - is also a guest.

Host Keith Lemon asks Naughty Boy how his friend and former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, who he has been working with, is to which he replies: " Zayn's in a great place."

Naughty Boy has been embroiled in a war of words on Twitter with Tomlinson over Malik's post-One Direction career and future solo projects, which the producer is collaborating with him on.

When asked about the Tomlinson spat, Naughty Boy says: "Talking about it is obviously not my problem, the problem is that something doesn't deserve the attention, someone like Louis is not in my radar of anything....Zayn left for his own personal reasons and one day people will know everything, right now's not the time."

He adds of the online backlash he had suffered from One Direction fans: "It's relentless, if this was a playground I'd be like the weird nerd guy.

"Because they're young (the fans) you can't really say anything back, so if you say something back to a little girl it's like bullying, so I don't say fan told me to stick my own foot up my own arse.

"I'm friends with Zayn, he's one of my best friends."

Bullard then reveals: "And guess who my friend is? Louis. I'm going to call him... You're lucky, he's asleep. Seriously he had a lot to tell me and he don't f***ing like him (Naughty Boy)."

Naughty Boy replies of Tomlinson: "I don't know the guy, he doesn't know me, it's just the music business, we're not saving lives, come on, let's just get real.

"I've got no problem with him, I've got no problem with anyone really. It's just banter."

When the argument descends into slating each other's outfits, presenter Lemon sends Bullard into a corner to calm down before his team captain Holly Willoughby makes him apologise to Naughty Boy.

Celebrity Juice airs tonight on ITV2 at 10pm.
