Chart success beckons for Boris
Boris Johnson could be heading to the charts after his rousing Olympic celebration speech was included on a new track by chart group The Soldiers.
The Mayor of London drew cheers and laughter for his speech outside Buckingham Palace at the victory parade last month.
And now his words are being featured in the introduction to a new recording by the trio I Have A Dream, on their forthcoming album.
It comes just weeks after Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg's apology over tuition fees was turned into a spoof song last month, although it was a long way from making the top 40.
Boris told athletes: "You showed every child in this country that success is not just about talent and luck but about grit and guts and hard work - you showed fantastic grace in victory and amazing courage in defeat."
It will be included on The Soldiers' self-titled album which is to be released on October 29. The group - who are all still servicemen - made it to number four with their first album in 2009.
