Chris Brown at top of US charts
Chris Brown has hit the top of the US RnB chart, less than two years after assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The 21-year-old's latest song Deuces hit the top spot of Billboard's RnB/Hip Hop songs chart this week.
Since the singer's physical attack of then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009, he has not had much success musically. He released his third album Graffiti in December 2009 and it's his lowest selling CD to date. Only two songs from the album hit the US charts, the first single I Can Transform Ya peaked at No. 20 on the pop charts.
Deuces appears on Chris' mixtape, Fan Of A Fan, and it features rappers Tyga and Kevin McCall.
Chris also stars in the heist thriller Takers, which debuted on top of the US box office last week.
In August 2009, Chris reached a plea deal over the domestic violence charges and was sentenced to five years of probation, one year of domestic violence counselling, and six months of community service.
In June this year Chris was refused entry to the UK on the grounds of being guilty of a serious criminal offence.
