Chris Brown has revealed that his new tattoo is not a depiction of ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The Turn Up The Music singer issued a denial after fans suggested that the neck inking - which he showed off at an event in Las Vegas - shared a resemblance to a battered woman, hinting it could be Rihanna, whom he assaulted in 2009.
But the 23-year-old's spokesperson said that any resemblance is merely coincidence, telling Rumorfix.com: "It's a random woman. His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw.
"It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported."
The former couple were spotted embracing each other at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards last week, when Chris congratulated Rihanna after she won the gong for Video of the Year.
