Clarkson to perform at ACM Awards

Kelly Clarkson is among the nominees at the Academy of Country Music Awards

Kelly Clarkson is set to perform at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards in the US.

The former American Idol winner - who is among the nominees for the awards - is one of a host of stars taking to the stage at the event next month.

Performers announced so far also include Miranda Lambert, George Strait and Hunter Hayes.

Show co-hosts Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will also be singing on the night.

Eric Church is this year's top nominee with seven nods.

The Academy of Country Music Awards will be held on April 7 in Las Vegas.
