Clubs: Expect massive things from Avalon’s spinset

Avalon Emerson Bunatee Bar, QUBSU, Belfast Tomorrow, 10pm

By Andrea McVeigh

The emphasis at Twitch is on the Whities record label, with its signing Avalon Emerson and head Nik Tasker taking to the DJ box. If you’re a Twitch regular you’ll have heard lots of Whities tracks at previous club nights, including Emerson’s floor-filling tune of 2016, The Frontier.

The DJ’s stimulating sets saw her break into the mainstream last year and much more is expected of her in 2017.  As for Tasker, with work for Young Turks in his back catalogue, he’s an exciting DJ in his own right.
