Cole and Coyle party in London

Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle have put any rumours of a feud behind them as they partied together in London.

The Girls Aloud bandmates - who were thought to have fallen out over a year ago - got together at the capital's Rose Club after Cheryl made a surprise appearance at the Summertime Ball at the weekend.

Cheryl, who wore a short peach dress, was celebrating the release of her new single Call My Name, and apparently invited Nadine along after hearing that she was in town.

A source told The Metro: "Cheryl thought it would be the perfect chance to get Nadine out. They do actually get on and speak. Their diaries have just been out of sync over the years."

The insider added that Cheryl and Nadine, who will soon be working together on the eagerly anticipated Girls Aloud reunion, had an "amazing night catching up".

Earlier in the evening Cheryl donned a multi-coloured catsuit as she took to the stage at Wembley to sing her new track at Capital FM's Summertime Ball. The singer was introduced to the audience following a performance by Dizzee Rascal, who was also a surprise guest.

Other big names who took to the stage included Coldplay, Usher, Jessie J and Ed Sheeran.

After her big night, Cheryl thanked fans for supporting Call My Name - which has topped the UK iTunes downloads chart - writing on Twitter that they were "unbelievable".

She tweeted: "I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I AM SEEING... How can Call My Name be no 1 on iTunes and I only put it out at Midnight..."
