Court hears Jackson manager's call

A message from Michael Jackson's manager was played in court

Five days before Michael Jackson died, his manager called the singer's doctor and said the pop superstar was sick.

A voicemail from the manager was played for a Los Angeles jury in the lawsuit by Jackson's mother against the concert promoter who was then arranging his This Is It tour.

On the voicemail message, Frank Deleo told Dr Conrad Murray that Jackson has had an "episode" and suggested that blood tests be done on him.

There was no further elaboration on what the episode was and a lawyer for Katherine Jackson did not ask further questions about it.

Police Detective Orlando Martinez is in a second day of testimony in the court about his investigation of Jackson's June 25, 2009, death from an overdose of propofol.
