Simon Cowell will turn out to be an alien in a new musical

Simon Cowell's new stage musical will feature his own character singing a song about how much he loves himself.

The Sun reported that British actor Alexander Hanson will play the TV guru, and belt out the song Falling In Love With Myself, which Simon hopes will rocket to the top of the charts.

A source said: "He's not exactly a Hollywood A-lister but he does a b****y good Simon Cowell. Simon had to admit he was the right man for the job."

The script has been penned by TV Burp star Harry Hill, while Steve Brown, who wrote many of the songs for Spitting Image, is behind the music.

The newspaper said that Simon turns out to be an alien, who controls the world from space, in the £10 million production.

A source said: "He genuinely loves it. Simon knows that many people see him as a bit of a cartoon character so he doesn't mind having the p*** taken out of him."

It's sometimes difficult for a retiring person like you to showcase your talent. You are tired of being eclipsed by pushy rivals. By showing your work to the right people, you can finally gain the fame and acclaim you deserve. Fortunately, an influential friend, neighbour or colleague can set up an interview or introduction. An important executive or critic will be impressed by your efforts. If you're offered an unpaid position as an intern or apprentice, take it. This will lead to professional opportunities you couldn't find through other channels.More
