Deadmau5 excited for Wireless fest

Deadmau5 is looking forward to returning to the Wireless festival stage

Deadmau5 is preparing to take to the stage in London's Hyde Park, for his headlining performance at the Wireless festival.

The house producer - whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman - is the top act on the main stage for the opening day of the music festival, following performances by fellow Canadian indie rockers Metric, The Roots, Maverick Sabre and Afrojack.

"Roll on Wireless! Is this SUN I see? Wireless is looking GOOD!" he tweeted.

R 'n' B star Drake is set to headline on July 7, while his ex-girlfriend Rihanna will close the festival on July 8.

There has been speculation that the pair, who collaborated on Take Care, could be reunited on stage.

Around 65,000 revellers are set to descend onto the park to see home-grown talent such as Jessie J, Professor Green, Tulisa Contostavlos, Labrinth, Example, Calvin Harris and Rita Ora play at the three-day festival.

American stars Nicki Minaj, Santigold, Wiz Khalifa, Pitbull, J Cole, Stooshe and Far East Movement are also on the bill.
